I have a long list of blogs that I follow and I have a couple of favorite reads. One of my most recent discoveries is A Beautiful Mess by Elsie & Emma. First of all, I am so jealous of their blog's name as Jason Mraz's A Beautiful Mess is so close to my heart. (In case you might be wond'ring why I chose this name for my blog, the answer is that all the other ones I would've liked are already taken, but that's another story.)
A Beautiful Mess features posts on different aspects of living. I find myself always pleasantly surprised whenever I visit their blog. The blog features DIY projects, fashion, beauty, decor, recipes, photography, among other things. I am inspired to be more creative and to search that inner artist in me (if there ever is one), right after reading a post. And I am always, always captivated by their stunning photos.
Although I have been blogging for more
than 5 years, it was only when I started to focus on this blog this year
that I feel like I am truly blogging. I have a few blogs scattered in different places but they are more of a compilation of other people's creations that I love. I was very careful not to give away anything too personal. But this time around, I have began to open up and it feels nice. I guess that's because, I am
finally allowing people to see me. It is uplifting to know that you are sharing
positivity. And it is encouraging to be appreciated. I hope I can somehow achieve that
kind of effect that A Beautiful Mess does to me, to the people who read my blog.
I guess this is why I love A Beautiful Mess.
Whenever I hop over to their blog, I couldn't help but wonder, "what goodie awaits me there today?" When I read them, I can feel that sense of vibrance and happiness
exuding from each page. I feel wanting to reach out my hand, to say or
"type" something, to let them know that I would like to try my hands on that project or recipe. To say that the post made me smile. Or even just to say hi. :)
I still have a couple of inspiring blogs on my list. One of these days, I'm going to make another post to share them all with you. Btw, this post is in response to Holly Becker's (from Decor8, one of my all-time fave blogs) invite to "Show Your Love" to bloggers who inspire you. If you haven't read her post yet, you can read it here, and maybe you can join in too!
What are your favorite blogs? Who are your favorite bloggers? You're welcome to leave their links with your comments and I'd surely give them a visit. Thanks:)

DeleteHow awesome is this! I'm totally checking out a beautiful mess!!! And I love the idea of sharing the love of other bloggers! It's how we get connected and find blogs that suit us! I'm a HUGE DIY fan so I'm sure I'm going to fall in love with this new blog.
ReplyDeleteAnd go for it girly! Being a little personal on your blog allows others to create a relationship with you. Plus this is your little corner of the internet, use it how you want. Inspire/create/let your thoughts out. People actually appreciate and respond well to more personal items :)
Happy Tuesday!
